Renewable Energy, Heat Recovery and Ventilation (HRV)

Pat Kelly has been providing the latest technology over the past 34 years to heat the heart of your homes. Whether you are a residential or business owner and whatever your goals may be, we have the solutions for you. The technology is simple, safe and available to everyone, with outstanding financial benefits through energy savings and government grants.

Below are a list of the numerous services we provide. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating is an efficient home heating system, which can be used as the main source of heat or combined with another heating system. It is most commonly installed in kitchens and bathrooms where tiled floors are common, but can be used to heat the whole house. It can operate with heat pumps, a condensing boiler (for efficiency) or from an electrical source.

Geothermal Heating

Geothermal heating systems are a relatively new technology that can save homeowners significant money on their heating and cooling bills. These ground source heat pumps use the natural heat storage capacity of the earth to provide super efficient heating and cooling.

Heat Pumps

Throughout the year, outdoor temperatures fluctuate with the changing seasons. However, underground temperatures do not. In fact, about four to six feet below the earth's surface, temperatures remain relatively constant year-round. Heat pumps capitalise on these constant temperatures. In addition to heating and cooling, geothermal heat pumps can provide domestic and hot water.

Biomass Boilers/Stoves

Biomass is any biological material that can be used as fuel. Biomass fuel is burned or converted in systems that produce heat, electricity, or both heat and power. Woodchips, wood pellets, and other low-grade wood wastes are the major type of biomass fuel.. These are renewable, environmentally friendly, cheap and easy to buy domestic fuels which can replace imported, more expensive fossil fuels like gas, oil and kerosene.

Solar Panels

The solar revolution of the last two decades has made solar energy an increasingly powerful force in the energy arena. Solar Panels use arrays of solar photovoltaic cells to convert photons of light into usable electricity. With solar panels, we are provided with clean, renewable energy from the sun.

Condensing Gas / Oil Boilers

Condensing boilers take their names from the process they go into during operation. What makes them different from regular boilers is that they also extract heat from the exhaust gases which would normally be given to the atmosphere. Thus, you can get more heat from each unit amount of fuel. In short, high efficiency condensing boilers are cost effective and greener heating devices for your house.
